Additional actions when replacing rear window

Background:

Only the latest version rear windshields are stored as replacement parts. Due to the higher amperage of the rear windshield heater, the fuse must changed from 25A to 30A if the rear windshield is replaced. Applies to all 960 cars and S90/V90 cars up to the Chassis no.s shown.

The information on the decal in the fusebox cover and in the owners manual must be updated.

Method

The fuse must be replaced due to the higher amperage of the rear windshield heater.





Remove:

- existing 25A fuse.

^ M/Y -1994 terminal 13.

^ M/Y -1995-terminal 1.

Install:

- fuse 30A.

Updating decal in fusebox cover





Cross out or scrape off 25A on the fuse decal so that it is completely illegible.

Write in 30A.

Cross out the existing information (25A) for the rear windscreen heater fuse and write in 30A.

Confirm the alteration with a stamp or your signature.
