Connecting the Volvo System Tester

The Following Operations Are Required In Order To Connect The Volvo System Tester:







Ignition off
Insert the memory cassette
Connect the Volvo System Tester to the data link connector, located under the centre console cover, with the cabling.

Ignition on
Switch on the supply to the Volvo System Tester
Select language, car and function group, including current system using the multi-function menu.

Select a specific function from the multi-function menu:
Select DIAGNOSTIC TEST to read and erase diagnostic trouble codes
Select MONITOR TEST to continuously read the values and status of the control unit's input and output signals
Select READING CONTROL UNIT: ID to read the control unit's part number.
