AB B. Reading & Erasing Diag. Trouble Codes (DTC) With the VST

Procedure:

- Ignition key in pos 2.

- Power on the VST, press enter.

- Select language, press enter.

- Select model, press enter.

- Select function group 8 (Body), press enter.

- Select function 8 (CCU), press enter.

- Wait while the VST establishes contact with the CCU, press enter.

Now there are two possible choices:

A. Diagnostic test, press enter.

- Read DTC, press enter.
Check how many DTC's, press enter.
Continue pressing enter to continue reading DTC's

- Erase DTC, press enter.
Erase DTC, select YES, press enter.

- Activation, press enter.
Menu for motors, press enter.
Select affected motor by pressing up/down arrow.
Select running of engine, press left right arrow.

Note!
It is important to know what happens when testing. Damage and accidents can occur i.e. motor for lock arm is run without the cover plate being open with the result that the cover plate cracks (worst case scenario).
