Warning and information decals placed in the car

On the windscreen




Decal on the front windscreen in combination with the SRS decal. The decal shows the vehicle is equipped with SIPS bag.

On the driver's side instrument panel

Component Locations - Warning and Information Decals Placed in the Car (On the Driver's Side Instrument Panel):

Decal on the side of the instrument panel on the driver's side.
Only use Volvo approved seat covers, the use of others may reduce the system functionality. Do not fit any extras in the vicinity of the SIPS bag in the backrest. Never apply physical force to the side of the seat. For additional information see the vehicle's Owner's manual.

On the sensor housing (under the seat compartment)

Decal with warning by the sensor unit. Colour orange.
The decal refers to the vehicle's Owner's manual for further information.

On the driver's B-pillar

Warning and Information Decals Placed in the Car (On the Driver's B-Pillar):

On the SRS decal by the driver's B-pillar, space is added for SIPS bag on the lower part of the decal. Two small decals are positioned here that show the control date for the left and right-hand SIPS bag.

Other marking

The seat compartment is marked with the SIPS bag symbol.
