Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-112 is stored if the on-board diagnostic system has stored a fault in any of the internal control module functions.

Possible source
- Internal fault in the control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- The SRS indicator lamp lights

Warning! There is a risk that the SRS will not function if this diagnostic trouble code (DTC) stored.

Note! Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) SRS-112 must not be erased if it occurs during the warranty period. In such cases the control module must be returned to Volvo according to standard procedures.

Note! No other diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) can be erased if DTC SRS-112 is stored.
