Rear seats
Seat cushion
Pull out the front edge of the seat cushion.
Backrest
Remove:
- the armrest.
- the seat cushion, see Seat cushion.
- 2 nuts for the backrest cushion at the outer bottom edge of the cushion.
- the head restraints, see Head restraint.
Lift the backrest cushion out.
Note! Press the bottom edge back when it is lifted out.
Route the belts around the backrest cushion and lift out the cushion.
Head restraint
Removal
Insert a hand behind the backrest cushion and press the head restraint catches as arrowed (see illustration). Lift the head restraint.
Installation
Press the head restraints down into their bushings and check that the catches engage.
Hatch for long loads
Remove:
- the armrest.
- the seat cushion, see Seat cushion.
- 2 nuts for the backrest cushion at the outer bottom edge of the cushion.
- 2 clips on the inside of the rear edge of hatch.
Caution! If the clips break they must be replaced.
- Angle the backrest cushion forwards and press the long load hatch backwards.
Note! Hold the backrest cushion when you press the long load hatch backwards.

Lift the backrest cushion out.
Note! Press the bottom edge back before it is lifted out.
Pull out the long load hatch
Lift the bottom edge of the surround and press backwards, twist the surround and the bag and remove it diagonally.
Rear seat upholstery
The method of replacing both sections of the rear seat upholstery is generally the same as for the front seat. Replacing backrest upholstery Service and Repair.
Arm rest in the side panel
Remove:
- rear side panel, see Panels Panels.
- 2 nuts for the armrest.
