Checking torque converter
- Check torque converter throat for damage.
- If it is damaged, replace torque converter according to Gearbox/torque converter, removing, replacing Gearbox/Torque Converter, Removing, Replacing.
- If it is damaged, replace the oil pump sealing ring according to Replacing the oil pump sealing ring Replacing the Oil Pump Sealing Ring.
- Install torque converter according to Gearbox/torque converter, installation Gearbox/Torque Converter, Installation.

Was the torque converter throat damaged?

Yes - FAULT FOUND

No - No Fault Found
