A. Service Campaign 83 Description

Volvo Cars of North America, Inc. and Volvo Canada Ltd. have announced a service campaign affecting 1998 Volvo S70/V70 models. Approximately 20,244 vehicles in the US and 3,099 vehicles in Canada are affected.

There is the possibility that the air conditioning efficiency may decrease. To address this condition an inspection of the air conditioning system will be required. This inspection may lead to the replacement of the A/C compressors

All owners of these affected vehicles will by notified by mail the week of June 1, 1998
