Checking Connectors







- Ignition off
- Corrective action to remedy outside temperature sensor and control module connectors for contact resistance and oxidation

Check any damage etc.
- To remove the control module, see Replacing ECC control module.
- To access the outside temperature sensor, see Replacing outside temperature sensor (ECC).
- Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc.
- Ignition on.
- Read off outside temperature.

Check the outside temperature reading is correct. Compare with the actual air temperature.

If temperature is now OK this indicates that the fault was caused by poor contact in the connectors.

Is the temperature reading OK?

Yes - Test complete
