Headlamp: Service and Repair

Removing Headlamp Assembly:





- Remove battery negative lead (disconnect).
- Remove headlamp cover and connectors.

NOTE:
- When working on the left headlamp: Lift out battery for better access.
- When working on the right headlamp remove the control module box ventilation duct. Pull up and remove the windshield washer fluid filler pipe.

- Press in the catch and remove the side lamp. Let it hang in its wiring.

CAUTION: Do not damage the bumper paint work.

- Remove the three screws holding the headlamp housing and lift out forwards.

Installing Headlamp Assembly:





- Assemble in reverse order. Tightening torque for lamp housing: 10 Nm (7.4 ft.lbs).
- Reconnect battery negative lead.
- Carry out headlamp alignment. Adjustments
