Checking Function On Temperature Damper Motor Driver Side







- Ignition on.
- Start the blower fan or let the engine idle.
- Read off the damper motor position sensor.
- Activate damper motor by slowly turning the driver's side temperature control between minimum and maximum heat settings.

Check that position sensor values change when the temperature control is turned. If value changes this indicates that damper motor is OK.

Does the position sensor value change?

Yes - Intermittent Fault

No - Checking Components and Cables
