Check ECC Control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.

If Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) ECC-211, ECC-222, ECC-231 and ECC-235 are stored:

Check the common power supply cable between ECC control module #A7 and damper motor terminal 2 for an intermittent short-circuit to supply voltage according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.

If, in addition, Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) ECC-122 is stored:
Check the common ground lead between ECC control module #A22 and damper motor terminal 1 and outside temperature sensor terminal 4 for an intermittent open- circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals - Intermittent faults.

Remedy as necessary.
