Signal Too Low. Permanent Fault

SIGNAL TOO LOW. PERMANENT FAULT





Checking Signal Cable

- Check cable between turbocharger (TC) control valve terminal 2 and engine control module (ECM) #B41 for a short-circuit to ground.

Then proceed to test step below.





Verification

Hint: Afier carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows.

- Ignition ON.
- Activate turbocharger (TC) control valve.
- See Activating Components / Functions section.
- A clicking sound should be heard from the turbocharger (TC) control valve when it is activated.

Is the turbocharger (TC) control valve working?

Yes:
- Fault corrected

No:
- Proceed to test step below.

Fault-tracing Information

- The verification result shows that the fault persists.
- Do you want to exit fault-tracing?

Yes:
- Fault not corrected

No:
