Checking Manual Shifting

1. Disconnection of Transmission Control Module (TCM).

NOTE: Ignition must be turned off.

- Remove TCM from control module box (compartment number 3).





2. Check
- Drive the car and check that transmission shifts in all positions.
- Make sure:
Car does not move in position N.
Parking lock is engaged in position P.

3. Incorrect result:
- Replace transmission.
