Replacing tilt mechanism

Preparations:

Make a note of radio code if anti-theft coded radio is installed.

Remove:






- battery negative lead (disconnect).
- seat from the car.
- backrest upholstery.
- protective pad.

Removing Tilt Mechanism:


Remove:






- Two screws securing tilt mechanism in the seat.
- The switch from the folding mechanism, see "Switch Replacement".
- Cable from tilt mechanism.

Replace tilt mechanism and assemble in reverse order.
