Replacing the backrest micro-switch

Preparations

Remove:
- the battery negative lead.
- the seat from the car according to Lifting the power seat in and out Lifting the Power Seat In and Out.
- the backrest upholstery according to Backrest upholstery Backrest Upholstery.

Removal





Note! Check the location of the micro-switch before removing it.

Cut of the tie strap.
Remove the micro-switch from the tilt mechanism.
Disconnect the connector.
Replace the micro-switch.




Install in reverse order.

Replacing the micro-switch for backrest folding

Preparations

Remove:
- the seat from the car according to Lifting the power seat in and out Lifting the Power Seat In and Out.
- the backrest upholstery according to Backrest upholstery Backrest Upholstery.
Fold the backrest forward.

Removal





Note! Check the location of the micro-switch before removing it.




Cut of the tie strap.
Remove the micro-switch from the seat.
Disconnect the connector.
Replace the micro-switch.
Install in reverse order.
