Checking for jamming




- Ignition OFF.
Check guide rail to see if anything is stuck in it.

There should be no foreign objects in the rail which may prevent movement forward/backwards.

OK - Checking seat rails

Not OK - Fault-tracing information

Fault-tracing information
The fault was due to an object in the seat rails preventing seat movement.
Check that there is no damage to the power seat.

Press "Continue" when the fault has been remedied.

Continue - FAULT FOUND

Checking the seat rail gear sector.

Is the gear sector OK?

Yes - No Fault Found

No - Replace component

- Try a new seat rail.
