Hood: Service and Repair

Hood

Replacing hood (hood panel only)





Remove:
- Soundproofing
- Washer hoses and windshield washer nozzle
- Radiator grille
- Catch
- 4 hood/hinge screws (1)+(2)

Install:
Adjust according to Adjusting hood

Replacing hood (with hinges)





Remove:
- Front fenders.
- Hood springs (A)
- 3 screws (B) in each side member

Install:
Adjust according to Adjusting hood

Adjusting rear edge of bonnet




Adjust up and down with screws (1) in the oval holes in each hinge.
Adjust backwards and forwards with screws (2) in the oval holes in each hinge.

Adjusting front edge of bonnet




Adjust up and down with screws (B) in the oval holes in each hood catch to align the hood with the headlamps and fenders.

Caution! Do not twist the hood.
