Adjustment

Trunk lid

Tighten the screws so that the truck lid is stiff. When the trunk lid has been adjusted, tighten all the screws.
The trunk lid can be adjusted:
- from front-rear with the hinges on the trunk lid and rear fender.
- vertically with the hinges on the rear fender.

Striker plate

Adjust vertically and from side to side so that the trunk lid lock does not catch the striker plate.
There are rectangular holes in the striker plate.
Slacken off the striker plate screws just enough to allow the striker plate to be moved stiffly.
Turn the trunk lid key while closing and opening it. Repeat until the striker plate is correctly adjusted.
Then tighten the striker plate screws.
Check lock function by opening and closing the trunk lid.
