Backrest fold-down mechanism assembly

Preparations

Remove:
- the seat from the car according to Lifting mechanical seats in and out Lifting Mechanical Seats In and Out.
- the seat from the car according to Lifting the power seat in and out Lifting the Power Seat In and Out.
- the backrest upholstery according to Backrest upholstery Backrest Upholstery.
- handle according to Backrest fold-down handle Backrest Fold-Down Handle.
- side piece, angle and pull down.

Removing the mechanism
Disconnect the micro-switch according to Micro-switches Micro-Switches (power seat only).




Replace cables.




Remove upholstery as illustrated.
Remove the two screws.
Remove the mechanism.

Install:
In reverse order.
