Cross Stay




Cross stay

Preparations
- Set the seat height adjustment to its uppermost position.
- Remove the seat from the car.

Removing the cross stay







Remove:
- two screws (1).
- one screw and spacer (B).
- two rivets (2).
- Drill/cut out the rivets.

NOTE: Ensure that there is no filings on the seat rail after drilling/cutting.

Installation

CAUTION: If installing a new cross stay, follow the instructions below to ensure that the seat base is not crooked.

Install:
- Screw/rivet the outer mountings for the cross stay into place.
- Position the seat in the car.
- Ensure that the base is straight, and secure in the catches on both sides.
- When the seat is in place in the car, secure the last mounting points on the cross stay under the seat.
- This is to prevent any stress or buckling in the seat.
