Replacing the lumbar support adjustment knob

Vehicles up to and including model year 2002 and a certain chassis number

The following information applies to:
- S80, up to and including model year 2002 chassis number 264494
- V70 (00-), up to and including model year 2002 chassis number 227361
- V70XC (01-)/XC70, up to and including model year 2002 chassis number 068654
- S60, up to and including model year 2002 chassis number 153640.

Removal







Screw the knob counter-clockwise until it stops.
Continue screwing counter-clockwise and pull out hard.

Installation
Press the knob on. Screw the knob into place.

Vehicles from and including Model year 2002 and a certain chassis number

The following information applies to:
- S80, from and including model year 2002 chassis number 264495
- V70 (00-), from and including model year 2002 chassis number 227362
- V70XC (01-)/XC70, from and including model year 2002 chassis number 068655
- S60, from and including model year 2002 chassis number 153641.

Removal







Slacken off the tension in lumbar support.
Carefully detach the cover for the lumbar support adjustment knob. Pull the lumbar support adjustment knob straight out.

Installation
Install the lumbar support adjustment knob. Press the cover for the lumbar support adjustment knob into place.
