Removing bracket and cross member




Remove the seat from the car. See Removing power seats, tilting Removal and Replacement.
Remove the multi-connector. See Multi-connector Multi-Connector.
Remove the control module. See Power seat module (PSM), replacing Power Seat Module (PSM), Replacing.
Cut the tie strap.
Remove one screw from the seat heater control module.
Disconnect the wiring.

Note! Check that the wiring is correctly routed.

Remove the bracket and cross member carefully. The mounting points are easily broken.

Installing the bracket and crossmember

Install:
- the bracket and cross member
- wiring
- one screw for the seat heater control module
- a tie strap
- the control module. See Power seat module (PSM), replacing Power Seat Module (PSM), Replacing
- the multi-connector. See Multi-connector Multi-Connector
- the seat. See Removing power seats, tilting Removal and Replacement.

Note! Check that the wiring is correctly installed. Otherwise there is a risk of damage to the wiring.
