Spring seat rear, replacing

Removing rear spring seat





Remove
- the shock absorber and spring. See Spring rear, replacing, M66, TF-80SC, AW55-50/51SN, M56 Spring Rear, Replacing
- both the spring seat screws in the cargo compartment.




- both screws for the spring seat in the wheel arch
- the spring seat.




- the shock absorber upper bearing. See Shock absorber bearing, upper rear, replacing, M66, TF-80SC, AW55-50/51SN, M56 Shock Absorber Bearing Upper Rear, Replacing.
Transfer the shock absorber upper bearing to the new spring seat. Center the upper bearing in the new spring seat. Tighten the "mounting screw". Tighten to 25 Nm.

Installing rear spring seat




- Install both the lower screws for the spring seat loosely.




- Install both the screws for the upper bearing
- Tighten both the upper screws. Tighten to 25 Nm.




- Then tighten both the lower screws for the spring seat. Tighten to 50 Nm
- Install spring and shock absorber. See Spring rear, replacing, M66, TF-80SC, AW55-50/51SN, M56 Spring Rear, Replacing.
