Checking the component
- Ignition off.
Disconnect right seat heater 9/13.
Check the control module for the right-hand seat heater and the connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.

- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector from the central electronic module (CEM)
- Disconnect connector (9/13) from the front right seat heater.
Check the signal cable between central electronic module (CEM) terminal #4C and front right seat heater (9/13) connector terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for an open-circuit.
Remedy as necessary.
