Protective tape front fender, replacing

Preparatory work
Drill out the rivets (1).
Bend aside the wheel arch liner (2).
Remove the trim (3).
Removal
Removing the existing tape
Rip the protective tape off the front fender.
Installation
Installing the new tape
Use a lint-free cloth and a mixture of 50% Isopropanol and 50% water to clean the surface on which the protective tape will sit.
To prevent finger prints and easier installation.
Remove the protective paper on the tape and twist the paper as illustrated.
Note! Before affixing the protective tape to the front fender, spray the area with a mixture of 50% Isopropanol and 50% water.
Measure the protective tape to the front fender as illustrated, with the corner of the tape at (1) and the edge of the tape against (2).
Press down the protective tape so that no air bubbles form.
Pull off the remaining protective paper from the tape. Press down the protective tape so that no air bubbles form.
Note! Be sure to press the bottom edge of the protective tape down securely so that it fastens against the front fender.
Press the trim back into place (1).
Rivet the fender liner to the front fender.
