Holder For The Waste Paper Bag Or Bottle










INTRODUCTION

- NOTE: Read through the whole installation instruction before starting the work.

- The illustrations display the procedure in order of operation. The order of operation is repeated in the text section

Holder for the waste paper bag or bottle

Preparations
- Fold up the cover for the centre console locker between the front seats
- Remove the panel (1) from the bracket (2) on the underneath of the cover. Carefully bend up the ends of the panel first. Use a plastic weatherstrip tool or a small screwdriver.
- Remove the two screws holding the cover and the bracket by the centre console locker. Remove the cover and the bracket.
- Remove the two screws holding the rear end of the centre console.
- Remove the rear end of the centre console. First depress the catches on both sides using a plastic weatherstrip tool or a small screwdriver. Fold out the upper edge of the rear end
- Lift out the rear end from the mounting in the lower edge of the centre console.







- Remove the two connected connectors on the inside of the rear end piece. First press the connectors down at the lower edge until the catches (1) release. Then slide the catches upwards out from the groove
- Disconnect the connectors. If there is a cable in the holder at the side, disconnect it.
- Remove the cover or ashtray for the rear end (if applicable). First pry out the rear end slightly until the catches (1) release. Then press out the cover or ashtray.
- Install the cover or the ashtray on the new rear end. Press so that both catches engage.

Installation
- Fold up the holder on the rear end as illustrated
- Position the rear end in the lower edge of the centre console so that the rear end locating pins align with the corresponding holes in the centre console
- Reconnect the connectors. Press the connectors into the groove. If there is a cable beside the holder, secure it
- Fold up the rear end towards the top edge of the centre console. Press the locating pin and catches at the top edge and on the sides until they engage
- Tighten the upper mounting for the rear end piece using the two screws
- Reinstall the centre console locker cover. Secure the centre console locker using the two screws
- Hook the panel into place beside the bracket for the cover.







- Fold the holder down towards the rear end. Press the holder into place.

Use

With waste paper bags:







- Fold up the holder until it locks in the uppermost position
- Remove the inner section of the holder by pulling downwards. At the same time hold the holder in place.







- Insert the waste paper bag up through the inner section of the holder
- Fold the waste paper bag over the edges of the inner section as illustrated
- Press the inner section into the holder.

With bottle:







- Fold up the holder until it locks in the uppermost position
- Position the bottle as illustrated. The bottle is held in place by the holder and the two raised areas (1) in the carpet.
