Parameters, values

Wheel speed
Wheel speed, front LH wheel.
Wheel speed, front RH wheel.
Wheel speed, rear LH wheel.
Wheel speed, rear RH wheel.
The ABS control unit calculates the speed of the wheels based on each wheel sensor.

Extrapolation counter
Extrapolation counter, front LH wheel.
Extrapolation counter, front RH wheel.
Extrapolation counter, rear LH wheel.
Extrapolation counter, rear RH wheel.
During driving, the normal value should be 0. The extrapolation counter counts the number of times that the wheel speed change exceeds the permitted value.
If the signal from the wheel sensor is affected by electromagnetic interference, if it is varying too much, or if it is affected by short intermittent open circuits/short circuits, the ABS control unit may interpret this as if the change of speed is too great, and the counter will be updated.
When the ABS control unit registers that the speed change is within allowed range, the counter value will decrease.

Wheel acceleration
Wheel acceleration, front LH wheel.
Wheel acceleration, front RH wheel.
Wheel acceleration, rear LH wheel.
Wheel acceleration, rear RH wheel.
Measurement scale: -1.28 -(+1.27)g.
Positive value = acceleration.
Negative value = deceleration.
The ABS control unit calculates the acceleration/deceleration of the wheels based on each wheel sensor signal. The value may vary considerably depending on the road surface. An uneven road surface will produce considerable variations.

Vehicle reference speed
Vehicle reference speed.
Measurement scale: 0.60 - 653.80
The ABS control unit calculates the vehicle’s reference speed from the wheel sensor signals.

Vehicle speed
The vehicle speed signal is transmitted via the CAN network.
Measurement scale: 0.60 - 653.80
The ABS control unit calculates the vehicle speed based on the wheel sensor signals, and then transmits it through the CAN network.

Vehicle acceleration pos/neg
Vehicle acceleration/deceleration.
Measurement scale (-1.28)-(+1.27)g.
Positive value = acceleration.
Negative value = deceleration.
The ABS control unit calculates the vehicle reference acceleration/deceleration based on each wheel sensor signal.

Brake disc temperature
Front brake disc temperature.
Measurement scale: 0-450 °C.
Front LH brake disc temperature.
Front RH brake disc temperature.
The ABS control unit calculates the brake disc temperature based on how long the anti-spin system has been operational or how long the ABS system has been activated.

Power supply
ABS control unit power supply.
Measurement scale: 0-16 V

Steering wheel angle (only applies to ABS-systems with DSTC).
A signal from the steering wheel angle sensor that provides the ABS control module with information about the movement of the steering wheel in degrees.
Measurement scale: ±700°.
+700°=Left.
-700°=Right.

Yaw rate 1 (only applies to ABS systems with DSTC)
A signal from yaw-velocity sensor 1 that provides the ABS control unit with information on the yaw angle (direction) of the vehicle in degrees.
Measurement scale: ±74°.
0.5 V = -74°.
2.5 V = 0°.
4.5 V = 74°.

Yaw rate 2 (only applies to ABS systems with DSTC)
A signal from yaw-velocity sensor 2 that provides the ABS control unit with information on the yaw angle (direction) of the vehicle in degrees.
Measurement scale: ±74°.
0.5 V = -74°.
2.5 V = 0°.
4.5 V = 74°.
