Fog lamp protectors

Note! Carry out all procedures in these instructions on both the left and right-hand sides of the car.




- Clean the lens of the fog lamps and the surrounding surfaces. Wipe dry.




- Position the fog lamp protector (see the marking on the top edge) over the cut out for the fog lamp in the bumper cover as illustrated.

Caution! Ensure that the fog lamp protector is positioned correctly over the cut out so that the marking for the clip positions are correct.

- Mark out the position for the clips using a piece of tape or similar on the bumper cover. The clips must be positioned opposite the centres of the holes on the top and bottom of the fog lamp protector as illustrated
- Remove the fog lamp protector.




- Take one long and one short clip (these are marked for the right and left-hand side), and two plastic nuts from the kit. Press the plastic nuts into the clips.




- Use the cleaning cloth to clean where the two clips are to be positioned. Wipe dry.




- Insert the long clip (1) in the gap (A), (widest part) between the fog lamp protector and the bumper cover. If necessary use a small screwdriver to widen the gap further
- Slide the clip (1) to the tape marking on top of the fog lamp protector
- Remove the masking tape from the clip. Ensure that the edge of the clip hooks securely in the rear edge of the bumper cover. Align the clip at the tape marking. Press securely into the bumper cover
- Insert the short clip in the same way (start at A)
- Remove the masking tape from the clip. Carefully slide the clip to the lower tape marking (2). Ensure that the tape on the clip does not catch the bumper cover. Ensure that the edge of the clip hooks securely in the rear edge of the bumper cover. Align the clip at the tape marking. Press securely into the bumper cover.




- Remove the two tape markings
- Install the two screws. Tighten the fog lamp protector.

Maintenance instructions
- To maintain a good beam of light, regularly remove the fog lamp protectors for cleaning. Also clean the fog lamps.

Caution! Do not use a strong cleaning agent which may have an etching effect on the fog lamp protector.
