Removing the tension spring




Remove the seat from the car. See Removing power seats, tilting Removal and Replacement.
Remove the seat cushion padding. See Seat cushion padding Seat Cushion Padding.
Remove the spring.

Warning! Be careful when the spring releases. There is considerable force in the spring.

Remove the spring.

Installing the tension spring

Install:
- the spring
- the seat cushion padding. See Seat cushion padding Seat Cushion Padding
- the seat. See Removing power seats, tilting Removal and Replacement.
