Description of frozen values
Explanation
Not all the parameters that are described need to be implemented in the control module. These vary from system to system.
The number of parameters can also vary between diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).
Frozen values are parameter values that are stored when a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored.
Engine running, status
The status displays whether the engine was running when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
No = the engine was not running
Yes = the engine was running
Passenger compartment temperature, value
Measurement range: -60-192 °C.
The climate control module (CCM) obtains the value on the control area network (CAN).
Outside temperature, value
Measurement range: -128-124 °C.
The climate control module (CCM) obtains the value on the control area network (CAN).
Battery voltage, central electronic module (CEM), value
Measurement range: 5-30 V.
Normal value when the generator (GEN) is charging: 13.0-14.5 V.
The parameter indicates the supply voltage to the central electronic module (CEM) when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
The climate control module (CCM) obtains the value on the control area network (CAN).
Distance, value
Measurement range: 0-1,000,000 km.
The parameter indicates the mileage when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
The climate control module (CCM) obtains the value on the control area network (CAN).
Incorrect car configuration parameter, value
The parameter indicates which parameter in the car configuration data is incorrect.
The climate control module (CCM) obtains the value from the central electronic module (CEM) on the Control area network (CAN).
Evaporator temperature, value
Measurement range -100- 100 °C.
If the air conditioning (A/C) has not been activated and the engine has cooled, the value must correspond to the ambient temperature.
The climate control module (CCM) obtains the value from the evaporator temperature sensor.
Passenger compartment temperature sensor
Measurement range -40- 90 °C.
The value must correspond to the ambient temperature.
The parameter indicates the value from the passenger compartment temperature sensor.
Status of the keypad
The parameter indicates whether the climate control module (CCM) detects that buttons on the keypad were pressed or not when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
Not pressed = the button is not pressed in
Pressed = the button is pressed in
Status of LEDs
The parameter indicates whether the climate control module (CCM) recognizes that the LEDs for buttons on the keypad should be lit or not when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
Not lit = the LED must not be lit
Lit = the LED must be lit
Status, seat heater right front
The parameter indicates the status of the seat heating module (SHM) right front when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
The climate control module (CCM) receives the information via LIN communication.
OK, heating off = seat heating module (SHM) functioning, heating off.
OK, heating on = seat heating module (SHM) functioning, heating on.
Incorrect status 1 = incorrect heater pad.
Incorrect status 2 = incorrect temperature sensor.
Incorrect status 3 = seat heating module (SHM) overheated.
Incorrect status 4 = communication fault.
Incorrect status 5 = other faults.
Incorrect status 6 = seat heating module (SHM) internal fault.
Status, seat heater left front
The parameter indicates the status of the seat heating module (SHM) left front when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
The climate control module (CCM) receives the information via LIN communication.
OK, heating off = seat heating module (SHM) functioning, heating off.
OK, heating on = seat heating module (SHM) functioning, heating on.
Incorrect status 1 = incorrect heater pad.
Incorrect status 2 = incorrect temperature sensor.
Incorrect status 3 = seat heating module (SHM) overheated.

Desired temperature left seat heater, value
Measurement range 0-60 °C.
The parameter indicates the value of the desired seat temperature that the climate control module (CCM) transmits to the seat heating module (SHM).
The climate control module (CCM) calculates the value based on activation of the seat heater button.
Desired temperature right seat heater, value
Measurement range 0-60 °C.
The parameter indicates the value of the desired seat temperature that the climate control module (CCM) transmits to the seat heating module (SHM).
The climate control module (CCM) calculates the value based on activation of the seat heater button.
AQS signal, status
The parameter displays the signal from the air quality sensor (AQS) when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored. The climate control module (CCM) uses the signal to regulate the damper motor module (DMM) recirculation.
Off = no increase or reduction in pollutant level.
Level 1 = slow increase in pollutant level.
Level 2 = medium increase in pollutant level.
Level 3 = rapid increase in pollutant level.
Air quality sensor (AQS), status
The parameter displays the status of the air quality sensor (AQS) when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
Warm-up phase = the sensor is being heated by the heater element.
Faulty heater pad.
Faulty sensor.
Calibration commenced.
Fault information, status
The parameter indicates the status of the damper motor module (DMM) when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
The climate control module (CCM) receives the information via LIN communication.
Faulty status 1 = faulty Hall sensor in the damper motor.
Faulty status 2 = fault when storing the position of the damper motor.
Incorrect status 3 = unexpected stop when operating the damper motor.
Faulty status 4 = over voltage or overheating in the damper motor.
Faulty status 5 = communication fault in the LIN bus.
Faulty status 6 = hardware fault in the driver circuit.
Faulty status 7 = hardware fault in the driver circuit.
Faulty status 8 = voltage drop in the damper motor.
Control modules on LIN bus 1, status
The parameter indicates which control modules the climate control module (CCM) detects as being installed on LIN bus 1.
Not installed = the climate control module (CCM) cannot communicate with the control module.
Installed = the climate control module (CCM) is able to communicate with the control module.
Control modules on LIN bus 2, status
The parameter indicates which control modules the climate control module (CCM) detects as being installed on LIN bus 2.
Not installed = the climate control module (CCM) cannot communicate with the control module.
Installed = the climate control module (CCM) is able to communicate with the control module.
Configured control modules for LIN bus 1, status
The parameter indicates which control modules are configured to be present on LIN bus 1.
Should not exist = the control module must not be on LIN bus 1.
Should exist = the control module must be on LIN bus 1.
Configured control modules for LIN bus 2, status
The parameter indicates which control modules are configured to be present on LIN bus 2.
Should not exist = the control module must not be on LIN bus 2.
Should exist = the control module must be on LIN bus 2.
Identification of the damper motor module (DMM), LIN bus 1, status
The parameter indicates the status after identification of the damper motors.
Temporary ID not OK = the climate control module (CCM) has been unable to allocate the damper motors a temporary ID during identification.
Defroster not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) defroster.
Recirculation not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) recirculation.
Temperature left not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) temperature left.
Temperature right not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) temperature right.
Air distribution not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) air distribution.
OK = identification ok.
Identification of the damper motor module (DMM), LIN bus 2
The parameter indicates the status after identification of the damper motors.
Temporary ID not OK = the climate control module (CCM) has been unable to allocate the damper motors a temporary ID during identification.
Defroster not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) defroster.
Recirculation not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) recirculation.
Temperature left not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) temperature left.
Temperature right not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) temperature right.
Air distribution not OK = failed identification of the damper motor module (DMM) air distribution.
OK = identification ok.
Power supply, value
The parameter indicates the power supply to the climate control module (CCM) when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.
Measurement range 0-50 V.
Normal value approximately 12 V (battery voltage).
