Replacing the component
The fault has probably occurred as a result of an internal short-circuit in the climate control module. This type of fault means that the climate control system unit must be replaced. The twilight sensor cannot be replaced independently.

Hint: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.
- Ignition off.
- Connect the connectors, install the components, etc.
- Ignition on.
Check lighting signal by varying light intensity on nightfall sensor. Cover sensor, for example with hand, to get a maximum signal. Shine a torch on the sensor to obtain minimum signal.
Value should vary between approximately 0 and 15.
