Check the connector for the outside temperature sensor. Check for contact resistance and oxidation.
The sensor may be defective if the above fault tracing and corrective action does not remedy the fault.
Remedy as necessary.

- Reconnect connectors, reinstall components.
- Ignition on.
- Read off outside temperature.
