Checking the wires and connectors
Check the wires between fuel gauge sensor connector 5 and test box A02 ( A2) for an intermittent short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults , and for an intermittent open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
Check ground wire between test box A10 ( A10) and fuel gauge sensor connector 6 for an intermittent open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults.
