Signal missing. Permanent fault

Checking the wires
Check the signal wire between the rear electronic module (REM) connector B06 ( D6) and the level sensor (ISM) connector 2 for an open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
Check the two connectors for contact resistance and oxidation as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault Checking Wiring and Terminals. Permanent Fault.
If no fault is found, replace the sensor.

Hint: After the repair it is necessary to check that the fault has been rectified.








- Ignition off.
- Connect the connectors, install the components, etc.
Open the boot lid and lock in the open position by pressing in the lock hinge.
Lock the car by remote control.
Wait for 25 seconds until the alarm is activated and sound the alarm by releasing the level sensor and turning it.
