Signal too low. Intermittent fault

Checking the wiring and connections
Check the wires between steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) control unit #14 (#A38) and steering wheel control unit (SWM) #18 (#A18) for an open circuit as described in Checking wiring and terminals. Intermittent faults Checking Wiring and Terminals. Intermittent Faults , and for an intermittent short circuit to ground as described in Checking wiring and terminals.
