Checking Ground Lead To Control Panel

HINT: None of the control buttons work if there is an open-circuit in the cable.

Check the cable between connector C terminal #6 and ground and terminal #7 and ground. Check for an open-circuit. See Checking wiring and terminals.

Permanent fault: Open-circuit, permanent faults.

Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage. See Checking wiring and terminals.

Permanent fault:Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults.

Remedy as necessary.

If no fault is found in the wiring replace control panel.
