Condition




The starter motor will not be supplied with voltage if the circuit for the starter motor relay is defective.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the cable between the starter motor relay and the ignition switch
- Open-circuit in the cable between the starter motor relay and the fuse
- Open-circuit in the cable between the starter motor relay and the central electrical module (CEM)
- Open-circuit in the cable between the starter motor relay and the control solenoid
- Defective fuse
- Defective starter motor relay.

- The starter motor does not run.
