Preparatory work

Remove the upper shock absorber bearing. See: Shock absorber bearing upper rear, replacing, AW55-50/51SN, AW50/51 AWD, 4T65EV-GT Shock Absorber Bearing Upper Rear, Replacing.

Removal

Removing the spring seat





Remove
- the spring seat screws, x 2, in the wheel arch
- the spring seat.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see: Tightening torque [1][2]Specifications.

Installing the spring seat

Install:
- the spring seat
- the spring seat screws, x 2, in the wheel arch.

Finishing

Install the upper shock absorber bearing. See: Shock absorber bearing upper rear, replacing, AW55-50/51SN, AW50/51 AWD, 4T65EV-GT Shock Absorber Bearing Upper Rear, Replacing.
