Checking for any air leakage from the 2
recirculation door

To check for air leakage from the recirculation door, drive the car at highway speeds in cold conditions with the glove compartment removed.

Set the climate control system to manual control. Is there air leakage (a cold flow of air) from the recirculation door when driving the car? Leakage occurs from the lower/inner corner of the hatch.

In the event of air leakage from the recirculation door, replace the control arm for the cover with a modified version.
