Lifting seats in and out

Remove:
- The SRS wiring according to procedure SRS connector SRS Connector
- the panels over the front screws for the seat mounting: Pull straight up
- the panels over the rear screws for the seat mounting: Pull upwards and backwards at an angle
- the four switches. The wiring clip
- the four screws securing the seat in the car.

Hint: Tip /angle the seat backwards. Remove the end mounting from underneath.

Remove the seat from the car.

Note! When removing a seat from a car with side airbags, the seat must be grounded. This is due to the danger of static electricity.

When the screws have been removed andbeforethe seat is lifted out of the car:
Take a long cable.
Strip off the insulation at both ends.
Secure one end to the rear mounting on the seat (the metal colored mounting).
Secure the other end in the car or to the car lift.

Installation

Install:
In reverse order.
The seat must be tightened to the floor. Tighten to 48 Nm.
