Checking the connectors




- Ignition off.
Check the connectors for the upper electronic module (UEM) and the cargo compartment lighting. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Check for loose connections.
Check for damage carefully.
Remedy as necessary.

Was a fault detected?

Yes - Fault Found

No - Checking components and wiring

Checking components and wiring
Check that fuse 11C/28 the integrated relay / fusebox in the passenger compartment is intact.
Check the cables between upper electronic module (UEM) terminal #A9 and the cargo compartment lighting terminal #2. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Check the ground lead between cargo compartment lighting #4 and ground terminal 31/83. Check for an open-circuit.
Check the cable between fuse 11C/28 terminal #2 and the upper electronic module (UEM) terminals #A1 and #A11. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Remedy as necessary.
