Replacing rear spring seat

Removing rear spring seat





Remove
- the shock absorber and spring according to Spring rear, replacing Spring Rear, Replacing
- both the spring seat screws in the cargo compartment.




- both the spring seat screws in the wheel arch
- the spring seat
- the upper bearing for the shock absorber according to Shock absorber bearing, upper rear, replacing Shock Absorber Bearing Upper Rear, Replacing.
Transfer the shock absorber upper bearing to the new spring seat. Center the upper bearing in the new spring seat. Tighten the "mounting screw" to 25 Nm.

Installing rear spring seat
- Install both lower screws loosely
- Then install both upper screws
- Tighten both the upper screws to 25 Nm
- Then tighten both the lower screws to 50 Nm
- Install the spring and shock absorber according to Spring rear, replacing Spring Rear, Replacing.
