BCM-0148
BCM-0148: Communications Between Control Modules, Faulty Configuration ID
Condition
The control module for the steering angle sensor communicates with the Brake Control Module (BCM) with data which is transmitted in "small packages". Each package has an ID number. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) BCM-0148 is stored if the Brake Control Module (BCM) registers an ID number that does not correspond to what the Brake Control Module (BCM) expects. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.
