- Ignition off.
Check that control module connector is correctly connected to control module and that connector lock is working.
Check that control module connector, pins and socket housings are not damaged.





Is the control module correctly connected?

Yes - fault not found

No - control module connection

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.




- Ignition off.
- Reconnect connectors, reinstall components.
- Ignition on.
When the ignition is switched on the control module lights the ABS warning lamp. Check that the warning lamp goes out after approximately 2 seconds.

Note! The warning lamp will not go out if a fault has been stored in the control module.





Does the ABS warning lamp light and go out shortly afterwards?

Yes - VERIFIED

No - VERIFICATION FAILED
