Removal

Common operations

Remove:
- The loudspeaker grille on the D-post. See Loudspeaker, D-post, replacing Loudspeaker, D-Post, Replacing
- The side panel cover. See Cargo compartment side panel cover Cargo Compartment Side Panel Cover
- The cargo compartment side panel. See Side panel, cargo compartment, replacing Side Panel, Cargo Compartment, Replacing
- The cantrail panel. See Panel, cantrail, replacing Panel, Cantrail, Replacing
- The D-post panel. See Panel, D-post, replacing Panel, D-Post, Replacing.

Upper tail lamp




(Must be removed before the lower tail lamp)
- Disconnect the connector
- Remove the nuts (2)
- Remove the tail lamp and the end piece for the cover strip in the roof joint
- Remove the end piece.

Lower tail lamp
- Remove the upper tail lamp. See above
- Remove the nuts (3)
- Remove the lamp
- Disconnect the connector.

Installation

Tail lamp
- Install the lower tail lamp unit first if necessary
- Everything else is installed in reverse order.
