Air intake housing, adjustment

Background

Before installing the air intake housing onto a climate unit for vehicles equipped with an air quality sensor, the air intake housing must be adjusted as described in this Service Bulletin.

Adjusting the air intake housing for vehicles with 1
an air quality sensor

Note!
The air quality sensor location on the left-hand shorter side of the air intake housing closest to the firewall.





Remove the marking on the shorter side of the air intake.

Use a 10 mm drift.

Place the drift in the center of the marking.

Knock out the marking using a hammer.

Adjusting the air intake housing for vehicles with an air 2
quality sensor, continued.





Remove:

- the marking from the air intake housing

- any residue left in the hole.
