Evaporative Emission System Software
Background:
Under some conditions faulty calibration data in the engine control module (ECM) may cause the evaporative emission (EVAP) system diagnostic software to operate incompletely. If a fault in the EVAP system is found the check engine (MIL) light will illuminate. However the details of the fault will not be explained in the driver information text display. The ECM should be updated with the correct upgrade software listed below.
