In a vehicle with a Multimedia module (MMM) with a hard disk (HDD system), a message stating to insert a disc may appear on the screen. This is due to a software fault. There is a risk of the system drawing unnecessary battery capacity even when the vehicle has been turned off as the infotainment relay is continuously active.
Fault symptom
- Navigation/Does not work
- Navigation/Error message on screen
