SUBJECT: VOLTAGE REGULATOR REPLACEMENT
Effective immediately, all voltage regulator replacement claims are to be submitted in accordance with the diagnostic procedures outlined in Service Bulletin-Technical Product Update number 7-03 dated 4/22/87. It is not necessary to remove the alternator to gain access for testing and/or replacement of the voltage regulator.


The following labor operations and time allowances are to be used:

6150 = .3 to test charging system 6206 = .2 to replace voltage regulator
